We cannot
believe how much time has passed since our last Newsletter!
We have been in our new location for almost 3 years already
and we are thrilled to finally be updating you on all that has
been happening. We apologize that it has taken so long to update
our website!
We have
been thoroughly enjoying our new clinic and we hope that you
all feel the same way. You have probably noticed a few new faces
at TPC over the past few years as our staff has seen some changes.
We are
sad to say that our wonderful Dr. Alice Reakes has recently
transitioned into "semi" retirement, though we are
very happy for her! She has retired from general practice, however
we are fortunate that she will continue her acupuncture services
for patients as needed.
Our good
friend and amazing surgeon, Dr. Isis Sanchez, has recently accepted
a wonderful job with a new state of the art specialty hospital
in Utah. Unfortunately, this means she is moving away from us
and we are very sad to see her go. However, we wish her only
success and happiness as she enters into this new chapter in
her career. The animals in Utah are very lucky to have her!
We have
recently welcomed a new associate (and fellow Gator), Dr. Jamie
McLaughlin. Many of you already know her as she was a technician
with our clinic for many years before completing Veterinary
School. She focuses on providing thorough and compassionate
care, and her interests include soft tissue surgery, internal
medicine and oncology. We are happy that she was able to remain
a part of our family and we hope that you will welcome her as
we have. Please feel free to stop by and say hello!
This
Summer has barely started but it has already brought us many
changes, both happy and bittersweet. We are excited to see what
the rest of the season has in store. As always, our main priority
is continuing to provide the same high level of quality care
our patients and clients have grown to expect from TPC. We wish
everyone a fun and safe Summer!
